This is an oldie, but a goody! Potato Stamps are easy to create and fun to use.
{Don't have a potato? An apple will work too.}
Step one: Decide what you want the stamp to be. Cut the potato in half and have an adult cut out the shape in the potato.
Dip stamp into paint. Stamp first on the plate to get rid of all the excess paint.
Press stamp evenly onto paper.
Let your kids be creative!
Let them dry.
Have you or your child "write" in them and give out individually...
OR...
Stack them, tie with ribbon/yarn and give as a set to someone special.
